What’s Cool:

  • Lots of tiles.
  • Fast Paced.
  • Up to 6 players.
  • A 2 page rule book.
  • Easy to teach new players.

What’s Not:

  • Moving tiles from the center of the city is annoying.
  • We don’t understand how buildings can move location. (Dark City ?).

Neutral Information:

  • Strategic & Random at the same time.

  1. It is no Carcassonne but we really enjoy this as a nice change. It plays quickly and feels totally different depending on the players. Tonight we played a gentle game with little interacting but previously we’ve had fairly heated exchanges using the transit, bank and disaster tiles.

Although having said that the review has a very good point. How do the buildings move?

this game was ok. I really wanted to enjoy but found it to be rather boring unfortunately. The tiles are cool and all, but it just has a strange monotonous feel to it when you lay tiles and take actions, and with our group there wasn’t as much interaction as we would have liked. We already own other games that we like better so we will stick them those.

Great review though, but this game is a pass for me.

  3. Looks like fun. However, I prefer a tile-laying game that offers a more interesting final result. You don’t seem to get a visual sense of building up a larger city from these tiles due to the large graphic elements in the tile borders. This is more of an aesthetic critique than anything else.

Fantastic game with alot of strategy. I can’t really think of anything bad about this game except that the player who draws the most power plants has a huge advantage.

There is a ton of strategy and playing it with over 4 players guarantees that your line of adjacent tokens will get broken, its really fun to screw over your buddies.

    I give this game a 9.5/10
