I played this game couple of time so far, had a great experience every single time! The random factor is present but you can work around it if you plan ahead. Couldnt agree more about the artwork, its very neat!

Oh and nice Videos by the way, represents the game pretty well!

  1. I played this game last sunday and I found 2 problems:

    a. Theme doen´t fit very well with how much you must think every single move. Zombie theme should be more fun and crazy.

    b. Luck has too much importance. It says how much you move, what do you find, if you kill or not a zombie, etc. There are very few things you can do without luck.

So now I don´t like it that much as the day I played my first game.

    (Sorry for bad english).

On the Growing Hunger Review, the wrong name comes up for the female reviewer. That is not the alluring Micheala Di Cesare, it’s actually Felicia Mezzanotte!

I’m sure you noticed by now, but just saying.

Aside from that, keep up the great work Board to Death :)

  3. I am a big fan of miniature wargames, so I give it props for the use of miniatures and the feel of movement and being chased. There are alot of elements that work well with this game. I really like the time tracker as a setting sun. The typical horror characters are great too. The production is top-notch with the design artwork and photography.

  5. My favorite part of this game (and any game by flying frog productions) is the B-movie feel you get by looking at and playing it!

  6. The tension is palpable during this game, though if you end up playing with a weaker player controlling the zombies it can become too easy. Also, due to the nature of the hero deck you can either find the items you need easily or you will be scrambling for them still during the final turns I’d prefer it if the objective items were seeded as opposed to purely random.

This is probably THE zombie game of board games.

It comes with some neat stuff like a soundtrack to set the right “mood” and a bunch of pretty nicely done items.

The game is fun and zombie fans will enjoy it because it’s like living in a zombie movie.. you need to get away get out. or just hunt down the zombies.. all in good fun.

The game comes with different scenarios that you can choose from and also has a bunch of expansions out.

Sometimes the game might be boring if it’s kind of unbalanced, but if you ever get to play one of those games where it’s hard to tell who the winner is.. then you’ll love it.. (oh.. did i mention you can play as a zombie?
