Really great game. A lot of things about Arkham Horror which are overblown and too heavy in chrome and mechanics.. this is a breath of fresh air. This plays much faster and better than Arkham Horror in a lot of ways. If youre a lovecraft fan you will dislike this game a lot as it is a gothic horror and not like arkham horror but played as a game and its campyness redeems that .

The game starts with high production values and finishes with strong game play. The cards/board/tokens are great looking. And the co-op play adds a different play option. Great job!

Yes, this is much more simple and MUCH less complex (redundant there, I know) then Arkham Horror, but between the two Arkham Horror just brings a better experience in my opinion.

Much more easier to setup and play than Arkham Horror (AH). It is less complicated than AH. The rule is much easier to learn and not to scare away the new players. The playing time is suitable for family as well. AH gave us more frustration and felt so fiddly. AH is going to simulate RPG game (something like “along in the dark”) and is more suitable to play along with using computer. I like “A Touch Of Evil” more than AH.

Components are great, can be easily modified to make the Villains more difficult if needed. There are additional Villains in expansions and at least 1 that is a free download.

Flying Frog Productions sophomore effort passes my seal of approval with flying colors ;) Components are brilliant! It’s not as fiddly as Arkham Horror & it even fulfills some of my needs as a eurogamer! Plus all the expansions coming out that breathe new life into this game! A must have!

Love this game! The only thing I don’t love is the setup and put away. CARDS everywhere! It’s of course worth it though!
