First of all this is not an adventure game. At no point can it be compared to classic adventure games like runebound, talisman and others. It is a Victory point gathering game where you're goal is to gather VP as fast as possible while keeping others from gathering them. Each character has his own strengths. While the berserker is a great pvper beside that he doesn't has any extra tricks, no extra movement possibilities, no other way to hamper movement. Knowing how to play your character makes a big difference. I would however recommend to get some extra character packs, just to make it more re-playable and find a character more within your style of play. I think this is the game's biggest flaw: they call it an adventure game but it is not. Concerning the other negative points. The cards are small, but that has never bothered me. The box is also not useful for storage, but I'm one of those guys that puts every token in a different bag. Overall, it is not a bad game. It has some flaws and it has some strengths. I like to play it once in a while, because it plays quick and rules aren't too complex. It gets better if all players know the game. All in all I would give the game an 8. I think it's fun for what it is and if you just want a quick warcraft fix in board game form, this is your game.. otherwise I would rather play the other World of Warcraft board game even though it is much longer than this one. The production value for this game is good, but I do agree that the cards are a bit small.. but I can live with it. I think it’s fun for what it is and if you just want a quick warcraft fix in board game form, this is your game.. otherwise I would rather play the other World of Warcraft board game even though it is much longer than this one.

The production value for this game is good, but I do agree that the cards are a bit small.. but I can live with it. A lot of games have small cards : )

World of Warcraft the Adventure Game Boardgame is not totally a bad game, the concept stays true to the MMORPG stereotype:adventuring, questing, combat and leveling up but I will admit it could have been done alot better all together. I felt no connection to the game or any excitement to care about winning. I did not feel connected to the character i was playing. All the negative things that were explained in the video review are true, lack of characters, small cards, boring quests and linear gameplay. I don't think you'd ever catch me playing it again, there's so much better out there.
