Priests of Ra Board Game Video Review

Rio Grande Games

What’s Cool:

  • Nice production quality.
  • Many ways of getting victory points.
  • Easy to teach to new players.
  • Good rulebook.
  • One of the best bidding games we’ve played.
  • Strategy and luck are well combined.

What’s Not:

  • Sometimes, if there is only one player left with bidding tokens, he can win a lot of tiles for free.
  • The bag is too small for the amount of tokens you will place in it.

Neutral Information:

  • Not a very long game, depending on the group.
  • Can take up a lot of room.

Just wondering, how does this compare to Ra, the original game. It seems almost identical though there are quite a few differences (pyramid, ankhs, no monuments, 5 players instead of 4).
