Thank you, Board-to-Death-TV guys! Stronghold Games appreciates the very thorough (and oh-so-very positive) review of CODE 777! :)
Dan and Kalidor:
You have never heard of CODE 777? Well, it’s a 25 year old game that Stronghold Games believed in so much, we had to bring it back. And our version is a “25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition” as well!
Besides the extremely upgraded components from the previous versions, the Stronghold Games version has two very significant improvements on previous versions:
1. Colorblind friendliness: For those who have some color sensitivity, this is the first version of CODE 777 that is colorblind friendly. Symbols are included behind each number to ensure you know what color each number is!
2. Support for 5 players: All previous versions of CODE 777 were “2-4 players” only. Stronghold Games has support for a 5th player!
We are very excited about CODE 777, our first game production. Please watch out for our next two games in our 2010 catalog, which are:
- Survive: Escape From Atlantis!
This is a reprint of the great game Survive, which has been out of print for over 10 years worldwide. The island of Atlantis is sinking, and you must get your people off of the island. You can do so by boat (if you can find one) or by swimming. But beware! Sea Monsters, Whales, and Sharks will thwart you at every turn!
- Confusion: Espionage and Deception in the Cold War
This game has never been available in North America. It is a game that almost cannot be categorized, but it has a strong deduction element, a bluffing element, a tactical wargame element and an area control element. Manipulate your Spies to capture the Top Secret Briefcase, and get it to your opponent’s side of the board. Watch out! There is a Double Agent in your midst!
If you would like to be kept abreast of what is going on at Stronghold Games, please visit our website and sign up for our mailing list. Our preorder window for Survive is about to open, and we’ll be announcing to our mailing list customers first. Only 500 preorders will be accepted for any of our games, and besides generous discount, there is a preorder bonus with Survive: “The Giant Squid” mini-expansion!
Nice! Great review, guys. I’ve never heard of this one before, but it sounds like an awesome party game for when you have others around who don’t play a lot of board games. I’ll definitely have to keep my eyes open for this one, and add it to my must buy list.

I love learning/hearing about a game I’ve never run across before! Thanks as usual for the excellent overview.
