I cant say anything good about this one. The movement using terrain dice.. agonizing. AGONIZING. This really kills the game people will spend a lot of time messing with dice trying to see where they can go. The market has no way of changing you have to buy items a lot of the time you wont want for it to refill. So the market is broken too. leveling is imbalanced in scale. Is there anything good about this game? No redeeming qualities. None. Zero.

Just played it for the first time and I did like it ! It has a nice adventure feeling in it.
Will play it again…if I have time for it…because …it’s a game with long gameplay.
Looking forward to all the expansions in future.

This is a “deep” game a lot to do and learn. It’s a lot of fun and feels like you are playing a tabletop D&D game with some flare. I don’t recommend this for a quick pick up and play game as gameplay may take several hours. If you are sitting down for the evening with someone / group that enjoys the theme there is a lot to sink your teeth into and the game is a lot of fun.

PS: The expansions for the most part are fun and worth getting. I would suggest passing on these “Character Expansion Decks”. No matter how you seem to slice them they add way to many unwanted rules bogged down a great game.

This is a game that improves as the player turns get shorter. Playing this with people who deliberate their every move is beyond irritating.

I think this game has a great deal of fantasy and dice rolling – both of which can be fun. I like the battle system and the pre-battle roles depending on the situation with the creatures you encounter and I also like that you can fight other players…

However… this game has a feel of multiplayer solitaire.. and the wait time can also be annoying..

The only time there is any player interaction is if you are fighting another player..

I thought this game was fun.. it’s probably better with 3 or less players because the downtime would be less

Production value and artwork are amazing. Love it : )

An okay game, I’d say. I don’t think it’ll get old nicely, it’s a Talisman-like game without the clockwise-like race, but as repetitive as it. If you know the FFG world of Terinoth, I prefer Descent to it big time ! I give it a 6.

I can play this game for hours, so vast it’s different every time you play. A+ board game!
