What’s Cool:

  • Tactical & Strategic.
  • So many different war elements.
  • Fast paced and easy to teach.
  • Boards can be used in other games as well.
  • Random damage tokens.
  • Nice rule book full of examples.
  • Great photography and artwork.
  • Online Scenarios for re-playability.
  • Has real historical situations, units, and stories.

What’s Not:

  • A little on the heavy side.
  • Doesn’t come with anything to organize all those tokens.

Neutral Infromation:

  • The Zip lock bags are NOT included.

Hi! Just watched yours review. There is mistake in video. When you are using CAPs, you are modifying your dice roll and not quantity of dices. When you are using 2 CAPs, that means 6 + 5 (on dices) + 2 (CAPs) = 13.

Looking at this game i kept saying to myself “Can i get over the tokens replacing miniatures…” After going through your review i can see that a game can be great without going through the expense of producing 400 miniatures at a cost to me of a game over 100$. Don’t get me wrong games like Tides of Iron, Runewars etc are nice but i’d rather be able to buy two games like this then one of those anyday.

    Thanks again!

  1. Great review! I’m a big Memoir ’44 fan and this seems like a good step up towards heavier war games. Thanks for reviewing this game!
